Abstract Submission:
Prospective participants are requested to submit the title, author list (with presenting author listed first), and abstract of their presentation to mark.stremler@vt.edu by October 26. The combined character count for these three items should not exceed 1300. Abstracts will be used to confirm participation and to arrange the order of the presentations.
Please submit any special scheduling requests with the abstract.
The maximum number of symposium presentations will be limited by the available time. If necessary, selection of participating speakers will be made with preference given to those who will also be attending the 2007 APS DFD meeting.

Presentation Format:
The presentation format will follow that of the APS DFD meeting. Each speaker will have 10 minutes to present their work, followed by a 2 minute question-and-answer period. One minute will be reserved for transition between speakers.
Electronic presentations are encouraged. Speakers can bring their own laptop to the symposium to connect with the projector, or they can bring a PDF copy of their presentation to the symposium on a USB flash drive. Speakers may instead email a PDF copy of their presention to mark.stremler@vt.edu by November 7.

Venue:
The 2007 Fall Fluid Mechanics Symposium at Virginia Tech will be held in newly-renovated 190 Holden Hall. Preferred access to this lecture hall during the symposium is from the north end of the tunnel between Norris Hall and Holden Hall.
