Interests:
Biomechanics, biomaterials, and bioinspiration. Dr. Dudek applies engineering techniques to an array of animal locomotor systems across multiple levels of organization to extract general principles regarding how body structure affects mechanical function in nature. These principles are then used to improve the design of human-made devices.
